Way back in year seven health class (yes Mrs. Ferreira I remember), we were given the recipe for our Teacher’s no. 1 breakfast. I have made this nutritious meal many times since. I’ll let you know that when I first made this smoothie I was not so sure on the texture, but adding more milk was a quick fix for this problem. From health class to your tummy, this smoothie contains goodies including Protein, Fibre, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Potassium, slow-release carbohydrate and Calcium. It’s a great way to start the day and here it is:
200mL of Milk
1 teaspoon of Honey
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix well. Add ice for a chilled smoothie. Pour into glass, mentally thank Mrs Ferreira and enjoy!
